7-Day Proportional Refund Policy

Autophoto offers a 7 day proportional refund policy based on unused tokens. This policy allows you to test paid plans with confidence.

If you request a refund within 7 days of purchase, the refund amount is calculated based on the percentage of tokens that remain unused at the time of the request.

How it works:

  • If 50 percent of tokens are used, you are eligible for a 50 percent refund
  • If 20 percent of tokens are used, you are eligible for an 80 percent refund
  • If 100 percent of tokens are used, no refund is available

The refund percentage always matches the percentage of unused purchased tokens.


Refund Eligibility

To qualify for a proportional refund, all conditions below must be met.

Timeframe

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the original purchase date.

Proportional to Remaining Tokens

Refunds are calculated strictly based on unused purchased tokens.

Tokens represent processing actions selected by the user. Different editing actions consume different numbers of tokens depending on the operation chosen.

Tokens are considered used once a processing action is initiated and cannot be reversed, even if results are later modified, reprocessed, or not downloaded.

Valid Purchase

Refunds apply only to:

  • Paid token purchases
  • Paid plan upgrades

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Free trial tokens
  • Promotional or bonus tokens

Subject to Review

Refunds are not automatic. All refund requests are reviewed manually by our support team to verify token usage, purchase details, and compliance with this policy.

We reserve the right to deny refund requests that violate our Terms & Conditions or show patterns of misuse.

Examples of refund abuse include, but are not limited to:

  • Repeated refund requests across multiple purchases
  • Fully processing images and then requesting a refund
  • Creating multiple accounts to exploit the refund policy
  • Providing false information about token usage or purchase dates
  • Initiating chargebacks while requesting refunds

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email [email protected]
  2. Include your organization ID and transaction reference
  3. Include a brief reason to help us review your request

Our team will review your request, calculate the eligible refund amount based on unused tokens, and process approved refunds within 3 to 5 business days. A confirmation email will be sent once processing begins.


Subscription Plans

For monthly and yearly subscription plans:

  • Proportional refunds apply only if requested within 7 days of subscription purchase or renewal
  • Subscription tokens roll over as long as you are subscribed.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Organization Settings
  • Upon cancellation, remaining tokens stay active until the end of the current billing period
  • After the 7 day refund window, no refunds are provided.

Exceptions and Limitations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Refund requests submitted after 7 days
  • All purchased tokens have been fully consumed
  • Violation of Autophoto’s Terms & Conditions
  • Promotional, bonus, or trial tokens
  • Suspicious usage patterns or refund abuse

Chargebacks:
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute will void eligibility for refunds under this policy. Chargebacks may also result in temporary or permanent account restrictions while the dispute is reviewed.


Processing Time

Once approved, refunds are processed via PayPal to the original payment method:

  • PayPal balance: 5 to 10 business days
  • Credit or debit cards via PayPal: 5 to 10 business days
  • Bank accounts via PayPal: 5 to 10 business days

Processing times depend on PayPal and the user’s financial institution.


Terms and Policy Updates

This refund policy forms part of Autophoto’s Terms & Conditions and should be read together with them.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue this refund policy at any time. The policy active at the time of purchase governs refund eligibility.
